What’s All This Talk About Omega Fatty Acids?

In a nutshell (no pun intended) polyunsaturated fats Omega 3 and 6 need to be ideally balanced 1:1 in our bodies. So what’s the problem?
The American Standard Diet (SAD) is very high in Omega 6 which enables our bodies to be inflamed. Inflammation can be a good thing when we need to heal and attack foreign bodies, but the anti-inflammatory response needs to be equal.
Omega 3 provides us with this anti-inflammatory ability.
Look for a future post that will point out good sources of Omega 3 fatty acids and will point out some you should AVOID like soy.
